Senior/Mid-Level Python Developer, FastAPI, AI-Driven Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance REST APIs and microservices utilizing FastAPI and Python.

• Collaborate in the development of dynamic and experiential backend-driven interfaces in close partnership with the Flutter frontend.

• Manage and model diverse NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB and Cassandra.

• Integrate AI-assisted development methodologies and Prompt Engineering into the software lifecycle.

• Optimize quality and release timelines through AI-driven development tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate on the management and monitoring of containerized deployment environments on Kubernetes (AWS EKS).

• Maintain and evolve continuous integration and delivery pipelines on GitLab CI/CD.

• Oversee and track development activities using Jira and Git.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in Python.

• Proven experience in backend development using FastAPI.

• Practical experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB and Cassandra.

• Familiarity or strong inclination towards AI-assisted development.

• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering as applied to code.

• Understanding of Vibe Coding methodologies.

• Operational knowledge of Kubernetes (AWS EKS).

• Expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

• Good understanding of Git.

• Familiarity with the Jira tool.

• Basic knowledge of Java.

• Familiarity with Flutter.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous learning mindset for new technologies.

• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

• Technological curiosity towards Artificial Intelligence as applied to software engineering.
