Senior/Lead Analyst, Customer Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert vague business and clinical inquiries into detailed, actionable data plans.

• Create data models, code, and perform analyses.

• Design and sustain analytical pipelines and reusable data assets utilizing SQL, dbt, Foundry, and AWS data lake environments.

• For analytics-engine placements, spearhead strategy and take complete ownership of productized analytics engines such as risk, medical economics, and episodes-of-care.

• Collaborate with Data Science to design and construct predictive or risk models for training and validation purposes.

• Develop dashboards, provider scorecards, registries, and other analytical outputs using QuickSight and various other tools.

• Ensure analytical integrity and quality; oversee analytic quality standards for senior placements.

• Manage delivery schedules, decision logs, and portfolios of simultaneous customer projects.

• Identify and communicate delivery risks and trade-offs.

• Create client-facing status presentations, decision memos, and technical explanations.

• Assign routine tasks to junior analysts and provide cross-training opportunities for team members.

• Lead cross-functional analytical initiatives.

• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for customers or delivery partners.

• Collaborate with Customer Management, Growth, Product, and Engineering on account strategy, product direction, and analytics roadmaps.

• Serve as an internal thought leader and, for certain placements, represent Arcadia externally at customer meetings, conferences, and in publications.

• Mentor and develop junior analysts.

• Ensure the long-term sustainability of the designated area through backlog/technical-debt management, account backup, or analytics-engine roadmaps.

• Utilize AI tools for analysis, quality assurance, and documentation.

• Identify and implement enhancements for automation, scalability, and reusability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL and data modeling.

• Capable of translating unclear business or clinical requirements into a solid data plan and constructing the necessary code and analyses.

• Experience with healthcare data, including claims and/or clinical information.

• Understanding of value-based care.

• Experience in direct customer or partner interactions.

• Able to scope and present projects with minimal oversight.

• Comfortable integrating AI tools as a regular aspect of the analytical workflow.

• For lead-level positions: Proven experience in independently leading analytical work, managing multiple stakeholders, and mentoring junior analysts.

• Familiarity with dbt-based analytics engine development.

• Experience in creating dashboards with QuickSight or a similar business intelligence tool.

• Quantitative/ML fluency adequate for building models and providing them to a Data Science team for training.

• Background in medical economics, risk algorithms, quality data, and/or episodes-of-care analytics.

• Experience with state Medicaid programs or similar large government health initiatives.

• Background in project-based or retainer delivery models across multiple clients.

• Experience collaborating within a prime contractor or partner framework on shared delivery.

• Proven track record of presenting analytical capabilities externally.

• Proficient in Python for analysis and quality assurance.

• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, Jira, and Confluence.
