Senior Zscaler Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise Zscaler environments encompassing ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.

• Develop, sustain, and consistently refine security, access, and traffic policies.

• Oversee disaster recovery processes for ZIA and ZPA, proactively identifying potential failure points before they escalate into issues.

• Act as the senior technical liaison, converting intricate problems into straightforward solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively across various teams, including networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of direct Zscaler engineering experience that is recent, active, and extensive, rather than adjacent.

• Strong and demonstrable expertise in ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.

• Established experience in ZIA/ZPA disaster recovery and possess a current Zscaler certification.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex enterprise networking and security challenges.

• Excellent communication skills to be a calm and credible representative in discussions with clients, not just among colleagues.

• Willingness to work across Eastern and Central US time zones.

• Preferred: Zscaler Digital Transformation Engineer certification, experience with Zscaler Branch Connectors, and hands-on experience within large enterprise Zscaler deployments.
