This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
β’ Oversee training, coaching, and technical assistance initiatives aimed at enhancing the implementation of evidence-based programs and practices.
β’ Organize facilitator onboarding, skill-enhancement sessions, refresher training, and continuous implementation support.
β’ Work collaboratively with program leadership, partners, and implementation teams to assess training needs and deliver effective technical assistance.
β’ Keep certifications and knowledge regarding evidence-based curricula current, as mandated by Urban Strategies.
β’ Assist with fidelity monitoring, implementation check-ins, observations, and feedback processes.
β’ Record implementation strengths, obstacles, and suggested improvements.
β’ Present findings, technical assistance priorities, and improvement recommendations to the Senior Program Director of Health and Families.
β’ Aid in the creation, review, and enhancement of training materials, implementation tools, and technical assistance resources.
β’ Evaluate resources for alignment with evidence-based practices, principles of youth development, cultural relevance, accessibility, age-appropriate learning, and trauma-informed practices.
β’ Encourage the consistent application of approved materials and implementation guidance across teams and partner organizations.
β’ Collaborate with the Community Development Department leadership to ensure training and technical assistance activities align with program goals.
β’ Maintain thorough documentation of training activities, technical assistance, implementation feedback, fidelity findings, and improvement suggestions.
β’ Foster cross-program learning and disseminate promising practices related to youth development.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in education, curriculum and instruction, public health, social work, human services, youth development, organizational development, or a related field.
β’ Over five (5) years of experience in designing, delivering, and/or evaluating curriculum-based training, technical assistance, or professional development for programs serving children, youth, or families.
β’ Proven subject matter expertise in evidence-based practices, positive youth development, prevention programming, implementation support, and adult learning methodologies.
β’ Experience in leading curriculum implementation, facilitator onboarding, skill-building sessions, coaching cycles, communities of practice, or train-the-trainer models.
β’ Capability to evaluate implementation quality through observations, fidelity tools, performance feedback, training data, and continuous quality improvement processes.
β’ Strong ability to convert complex curriculum, program models, and implementation requirements into clear guidance, practical tools, and actionable technical assistance.
β’ Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, coaching, organizational, and collaborative skills, with the capacity to support teams across various initiatives.
β’ Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results from all required tests and background checks.
