Senior Workforce Planning Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive forecasting and capacity planning throughout operational functions.

• Transform anticipated demand into staffing needs and hiring proposals.

• Create and sustain forecasting models for short, medium, and long-term horizons.

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and HR on workforce strategies, budgeting, hiring plans, productivity goals, and organizational objectives.

• Develop staffing plans that pinpoint resource shortages, excesses, risks, and opportunities.

• Perform variance analyses to enhance forecasting precision, planning assumptions, and workforce models.

• Convert capacity strategies into staffing and work allocation plans.

• Assist in the implementation of new business initiatives, operational growth, process transformations, technology rollouts, and outsourcing evaluations.

• Act as a subject matter expert in workforce planning techniques, capacity models, forecasting instruments, and workforce analytics.

• Collaborate across various time zones within a hybrid or remote working setting.

• Engage in prolonged periods of sitting or standing while utilizing computer and video technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in workforce planning, forecasting, capacity planning, or workforce management.

• Proven track record of managing intricate workforce forecasting and capacity planning processes within operational settings.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and workforce modeling capabilities.

• High proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with SQL and planning tools is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with Finance, HR, and business leaders on headcount and budget planning.

• Ability to effectively communicate workforce risks, staffing suggestions, and planning insights to leadership at various levels.
