Senior Web Designer, Shopify

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Conduct reviews of websites, brand guidelines, and competitor offerings.

• Present 2–3 web direction proposals for each brand within the initial two-week period.

• Develop mobile-first Figma web design systems tailored for both brands.

• Create 8–10 signature sections for each brand, optimized for both mobile and desktop use.

• Implement conversion principles in every design section.

• Collaborate with the CRO Lead to launch significant new sections as split tests.

• Provide clean Figma files, along with usage guidelines, assets, and a comprehensive walkthrough.

• Empower the team to enhance the design system using AI.

• Review the initial AI-generated sections post-handover.

• Ensure built pages are checked against designs prior to launch.

• Work in partnership with the Head of Brand & Community, CRO Lead, CEO, and the web team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English.

• At least 5 years of experience in website design.

• A portfolio showcasing live e-commerce sites, preferably on Shopify.

• Proven experience in enhancing established e-commerce brands while maintaining effective elements.

• Extensive experience in utilizing AI for design, including AI image generation, layout, and site-building tools.

• Capability to construct extensible design systems within Figma.

• Knowledge of conversion-focused design principles such as hierarchy, proof, calls to action, and speed.

• Strong proficiency in Figma.

• Expertise in mobile-first design methodologies.

• Ability to work collaboratively with brand and CRO teams, providing constructive feedback when necessary.

• Availability to begin within the next few weeks and respond to feedback promptly.

• Excellent cultural compatibility.

• Experience in DTC or pet brands is an added advantage.
