Senior Shopify Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate both websites, brand standards, and competitors

• Deliver 2–3 web design concepts for each brand within the initial two weeks

• Develop mobile-first web design frameworks in Figma for both brands

• Create 8–10 unique signature sections per brand for mobile and desktop platforms

• Implement conversion principles into every section

• Launch significant new sections as split tests in collaboration with the CRO Lead

• Verify built pages against designs prior to launching

• Produce organized Figma files, assets, usage guidelines, and a comprehensive walkthrough

• Empower the web team and AI tools to enhance the design system

• Review the initial AI-generated sections post-handover

• Collaborate with the Head of Brand & Community, CRO Lead, CEO, founder, and web team

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully remote, freelance, ongoing position

• Proficient in English

• Over 5 years of experience in website design

• Portfolio showcasing live ecommerce sites, preferably on Shopify, reflecting taste and creativity

• Proven experience in enhancing established ecommerce brands while maintaining effective elements

• Highly skilled in designing with AI; daily utilization of AI image, layout, and site-building tools

• Capability to build scalable design systems in Figma

• Knowledge of conversion-focused design principles, including hierarchy, proof, calls to action, and speed

• Strong proficiency in Figma and experience in mobile-first design

• Ability to collaborate with brand and CRO stakeholders, providing constructive feedback

• Available to begin within the next few weeks and respond to feedback promptly

• Enthusiastic about design

• Excellent cultural fit with the company's stated values

• Experience with DTC or pet brands is a plus
