This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Perform vulnerability research and exploitation on contemporary mobile and embedded systems.
• Gain unauthorized access to Android devices and various embedded systems, such as smartphones and drones.
• Investigate the complete Android attack surface, including userland, kernel, firmware, silicon, and exposed interfaces.
• Bypass hardware-backed encryption, secure boot sequences, stringent security protocols, security mitigations, and trusted execution environments (TEE/eSE) along with related safeguards.
• Transform research insights into distinct evidence-extraction capabilities.
• Take full responsibility for assigned technical challenges and devise solutions.
• Contribute research that facilitates lawful digital evidence extraction for law enforcement and public safety clients.
• Collaborate with a compact, fully remote team of researchers and share findings with colleagues.
• Demonstrated experience in vulnerability research and exploitation, preferably on mobile or other modern platforms (Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, macOS).
• Strong reverse engineering expertise, primarily on ARM/ARM64 and occasionally on more niche architectures.
• Comfortable navigating memory-corruption mitigations (PAC, MTE, CFI, KASLR, etc.).
• Enjoy tackling complex technical challenges involving secure systems.
• Professional proficiency in French.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• No specific degree or certification is required.
• Nice to have: Published research, CVEs, or presentations at conferences.
• Nice to have: Advanced experience in fuzzing.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and their vulnerabilities.
• Nice to have: Experience in offensive hardware research or board design.
• Nice to have: Capture the Flag (CTF) experience.
• Nice to have: Experience with AI-assisted vulnerability research or agentic workflows.
• Nice to have: Ability or willingness to develop leadership skills.
