This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.
• Provide guidance to the CEO and Board regarding growth strategies, capital allocation, consolidation trends, and strategic financing options.
• Oversee the entire M&A process, which includes sourcing transactions, conducting due diligence, performing financial valuations, negotiating contracts, structuring deals, and finalizing agreements.
• Develop and sustain multi-year models for capital deployment.
• Analyze corporate capital raising initiatives, joint ventures, preferred equity, tax equity, and growth equity frameworks.
• Create Board presentations, Investment Committee memoranda, and financial models such as DCF, IRR, ROIC, and sensitivity analyses.
• Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership, lenders, and investors.
• Identify and nurture partnerships with developers, infrastructure funds, utilities, tax equity providers, lenders, and advisors.
• Evaluate technical, financial, and regulatory risks associated with development assets, interconnection queues, PPAs, subscriber portfolios, and BESS.
• Manage the post-acquisition integration of acquired platforms, operational teams, and asset portfolios.
• Mentor and develop the corporate development and strategy team.
• Drive corporate growth, mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and long-term value creation for PureSky Energy throughout North America.
• Aim to develop 500 MW to 1 GW of owned and operated assets, establishing PureSky Energy as a leading consolidator in community solar, distributed generation, and energy storage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, renewable energy, infrastructure investing, private equity, investment banking, or project finance.
• A minimum of 7–10 years of direct experience in renewable energy transactions, particularly focused on community solar, distributed generation, and energy storage.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex corporate acquisitions, platform consolidations, portfolio buyouts, and joint ventures in the clean energy sector.
• Extensive knowledge of project finance modeling, debt structuring, tax equity, corporate capital raises, and underwriting standards.
• Strong understanding of community solar economics, subscriber acquisition and management models, state-level regulatory frameworks, interconnection processes, EPC standards, Investment Tax Credits (ITC), and supply chain compliance (including FEOC standards).
• Significant experience in preparing materials for and delivering presentations to Boards of Directors, Investment Committees, and institutional investors.
