Senior Vascular Clinical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert clinical, technical, and product support for Medtronic's vascular offerings.

• Assist sales representatives during critical procedures and provide guidance to physicians on the safe and effective use of products.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams in the areas of peripheral arterial, venous, embolization, carotid, and fistula therapies.

• Train customers through personalized sessions, in-service programs, case assistance, and participation in conferences.

• Work alongside sales representatives, managers, and cross-functional teams to implement district business strategies and enhance revenue growth.

• Provide timely technical and procedural assistance for urgent customer requirements and intricate cases.

• Establish connections with physicians, administrators, clinicians, and key stakeholders.

• Recognize customer needs, handle objections, and relay market insights and product feedback.

• Oversee inventory efficiency through audits, resolution of discrepancies, consignment support, and optimization of product availability.

• Manage product introductions, inventory transitions, and field initiatives.

• Assist with inventory management, collection of purchase orders, training programs, and various operational processes.

• Carry out physical and clinical field tasks, which include lifting, extended periods of standing/walking, wearing lead, and exposure to radiation and infectious diseases.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma with at least 14 years of work experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 12 years, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of experience.

• Relevant experience in healthcare, field sales, or roles involving complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing.

• Candidates must live within the designated Wichita/Springfield/Joplin area.

• Willingness to travel to various customer accounts in the region up to 50% of the time.

• Ability to work and/or travel outside standard business hours, including occasional evening and weekend duties.

• A valid driver's license, active insurance, and a driving record that meets company standards are required.

• Capability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs. with both hands.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for over 8 hours daily, and regularly bend, stoop, squat, and maintain balance.

• Capacity to work in clinical settings with eye protection, and potential exposure to infectious diseases and radiation.

• Ability to wear 7–9 lbs. of lead for extended durations.

• Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices, with vision capabilities necessary for patient care support.

• For degrees earned outside the U.S., the degree must comply with 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level.
