Senior Vascular Clinical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert clinical, technical, and product support for Medtronic’s vascular product line.

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams involved in peripheral arterial, venous, embolization, carotid, and fistula therapies.

• Assist sales representatives during critical cases that require technical assistance.

• Educate customers through personalized training, in-service programs, case support, and participation in conferences.

• Work in conjunction with sales representatives, managers, and cross-functional teams to develop district business strategies.

• Contribute to revenue growth and achieve strategic goals.

• Provide timely technical and procedural support for urgent customer requirements and complex cases.

• Foster relationships with physicians, administrators, clinicians, and key decision-makers.

• Assess customer needs, handle objections, and relay market feedback and product insights.

• Oversee inventory performance through audits, resolution of discrepancies, consignment support, and optimization of product availability.

• Organize product launches, manage inventory transitions, and lead field initiatives.

• Assist with inventory management, collection of purchase orders, training programs, and other business processes.

• Meet physical job demands and operate in clinical settings.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma AND a minimum of 14 years of work experience OR an Associate’s Degree AND a minimum of 12 years of work experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 10 years of work experience.

• Experience in healthcare, field sales, or working with complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and the medical device sector is preferred.

• Strong project management abilities and experience in program coordination are preferred.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines is preferred.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.

• Candidates must live within the designated Wichita/Springfield/Joplin territory.

• Willingness to travel to various customer accounts in the region up to 50% of the time.

• A valid driver’s license, active insurance, and a driving record that meets company standards are required.

• Ability to work and/or travel outside normal business hours, including limited evening and weekend obligations.

• Capability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk for over 8 hours daily, bend, stoop, squat, and maintain balance.

• Ability to operate in clinical environments with exposure to eye protection, infectious diseases, and radiation.

• Capacity to wear 7–9 lbs. of lead for extended durations.

• Required vision capabilities for patient care and field duties.

• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment unless eligible for applicable sponsorship.
