This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take charge of the complete UX lifecycle for designated projects, from initial concept to final launch.
• Develop information architecture, sitemaps, taxonomies, navigation models, content structures, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive Figma prototypes.
• Establish interaction and responsive design across various breakpoints and devices.
• Generate design specifications, developer handoff documentation, and accessibility annotations.
• Create regulated content structures that ensure a fair balance, appropriate ISI placement, and proper referencing.
• Perform design quality assurance in alignment with design intent and contribute to UX design systems.
• Organize and execute user research and usability testing.
• Integrate qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable insights.
• Leverage research and analytics to support design choices and assess success metrics.
• Collaborate with strategy, creative, copy, account, and development teams.
• Provide guidance to creative teams on accessibility and compliance standards.
• Navigate regulated review processes such as MLR/PRB.
• Present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
• Conduct workshops and facilitate design discussions.
• Incorporate AI tools into research synthesis, ideation, content drafting, prototyping, and documentation processes.
• Balance business objectives, user requirements, technical feasibility, and regulatory constraints within healthcare marketing experiences.
• 8+ years of experience in UX/product design, including leading design projects from start to finish.
• A strong portfolio showcasing full-lifecycle UX work across responsive web and interactive platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma, encompassing prototyping and component/design-system workflows.
• Extensive understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and inclusive design practices.
• Solid knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience in planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research and usability testing.
• Proficiency with UX/product analytics tools, such as GA4 and Hotjar.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, including the ability to present and defend design decisions to clients.
• Comfort with integrating AI tools into a contemporary design workflow.
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or medical communications is preferred.
• Familiarity with MLR/PRB and compliant design considerations is preferred.
• Experience in designing digital experiences for healthcare professionals (HCP) and patients is preferred.
• Experience in contributing to or maintaining a design system is preferred.
