Senior UI Developer, AI Studio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the user experience for specific AI products by understanding user requirements and shaping UX designs through interaction design, UI implementation, launch, stabilization, support transition, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

• Spearhead user-centered discovery in collaboration with product and UX partners.

• Identify user needs, workflows, roles, intended use, acceptance criteria, accessibility requirements, adoption strategies, operating ownership, value hypotheses, and measurable results.

• Convert user research, journeys, workflows, rules, handoffs, exceptions, data dependencies, and human decision points into UX designs, interaction patterns, prototypes, and actionable UI requirements.

• Manage responsive UI frontend architecture across human-AI experiences, design systems, component compositions, state management, secure sessions, accessibility, browser performance, API integration, telemetry, and graceful failure.

• Oversee modern UI delivery utilizing JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks like React, Next.js, or similar component-based solutions.

• Transform UX designs and prototypes into accessible, high-performance production interfaces.

• Provide full-stack expertise for API contracts, integrations, data flows, and production support.

• Design and execute human-AI UX and UI experiences by integrating model services, LLMs, RAG, search, agents, BI, and deterministic automation.

• Develop risk-based UI, accessibility, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes, staged releases, telemetry, rollback strategies, incident response, browser performance optimizations, runbooks, and support ownership.

• Coordinate governance and GxP controls.

• Develop reusable UI components, patterns, and playbooks.

• Lead root-cause analyses, measure adoption and experience quality, mentor engineers, and enhance frontend delivery practices.

• Collaborate with product, backend, data, and ML teams to translate designs into production interfaces integrated with APIs, services, data, and AI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate Degree and 1 year of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, OR a Master’s degree with 8 to 10 years of experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 10 to 12 years of experience, OR a Diploma with 12 to 14 years of experience.

• Experience in UX design, frontend development, and human-AI engineering.

• Proficiency in user research, journeys, information architecture, interaction design, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Knowledge of accessible frontend architecture, component design, state management, forms, secure sessions, streaming, feedback, telemetry, and recoverable failure.

• Full-stack experience with API contracts, services, events, workflows, persistence, enterprise integrations, data flows, authentication, authorization, resilience, and production support.

• Experience in production integration of predictive ML, foundational models, embeddings, vector or graph retrieval, RAG, structured output, bounded agents, document or vision capabilities, BI, and deterministic workflows.

• Familiarity with representative testing and AI evaluation, repository governance, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, quality gates, staged releases, SLOs, observability, incidents, rollback strategies, disaster recovery, and FinOps.

• Understanding of identity, authorization, least privilege, tenant isolation, secrets management, OWASP, supply-chain controls, privacy, threat modeling, prompt/tool safeguards, validation, auditability, accessibility, and GxP evidence.

• Proven end-to-end ownership of UX design and UI delivery for at least one production web application, digital product, or significant user interface workstream that achieved measurable outcomes.

• Strong hands-on proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in React, Next.js, or a comparable component-based framework.

• Working full-stack experience involving APIs, integrations, data flows, and production support.

• Preferred: experience in user research, journey mapping, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, design systems, multimodal or collaborative interfaces, data visualization, and advanced accessibility.

• Preferred: experience with API gateways, REST or GraphQL APIs, event platforms, durable workflows, stream processing, service mesh, and enterprise integration architecture.

• Preferred: experience with vector or graph databases, model and agent gateways, MCP-style tool integration, durable agents, agent evaluation, process mining, UiPath, or n8n.

• Preferred: experience with AWS, Bedrock or SageMaker, Databricks, Spark, Kubernetes, serverless solutions, infrastructure as code, OpenTelemetry, policy as code, or internal developer platforms.

• Preferred: experience delivering GxP-relevant, validated, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other high-impact systems.

• Strong technical leadership, mentoring capabilities, and ownership while remaining hands-on.

• Excellent analytical judgment, troubleshooting skills, and clear communication regarding evidence, limitations, and trade-offs.

• Cross-functional leadership and close collaboration with product, business, UX, architecture, backend, ML, platform, and control functions.

• Pragmatism, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement through incidents, feedback, reuse, and measured outcomes.
