Front End Services Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate and deliver precise, timely cost estimates for scheduled procedures based on patient insurance, benefits, and historical data.

• Confirm insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage levels for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial plans.

• Assess and submit prior authorizations promptly based on patient insurance, benefits, and clinical information.

• Engage with patients to discuss estimated financial responsibilities, payment options, and their financial counseling requirements.

• Obtain necessary pre-certifications and authorizations while ensuring documentation accuracy.

• Investigate and address patient inquiries utilizing various systems, including practice management systems.

• Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations when managing incoming, returning, or outbound calls.

• Collect patient payment information, process payments, and accurately document accounts.

• Raise issues to supervisors or management as necessary.

• Adhere to client-specific protocols throughout patient billing cycles.

• Respond to requests in a professional and timely manner, following up on outstanding inquiries.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Strict adherence to patient confidentiality policies is required.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Basic computer skills, including experience with Excel.

• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Availability to work from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time; candidates in Mountain or Central Time Zones may also be considered.

• Compliance with HIPAA privacy standards.

• Experience with practice management systems and navigating multiple systems.
