This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Facilitate design workshops with clients to transform chaotic inputs into coherent design strategies.
• Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for both new and existing products and features, primarily focusing on native iOS and Android applications.
• Design interfaces that integrate software with hardware, encompassing pairing flows, device status, and sensor data visualization.
• Assist in projects from the initial design phase through to final production, collaborating closely with developers, QA, and PMs.
• Contribute to the implementation and evolution of the company's new branding initiatives.
• Explore and experiment with innovative ideas, trends, and tools, establishing successful concepts as team standards.
• Share expertise through chapter sessions, tech talks, and engagement with the design community.
• Integrate AI tools into the daily workflow.
• Participate in a UX/UI Design chapter and a project squad led by a PM, working alongside mobile and firmware engineers, QA, and UX designers.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in UI design.
• Proficient in Figma, including designing component-based systems and utilizing auto-layouts.
• Practical experience in designing interfaces for IoT and connected devices.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing visually engaging work.
• Strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Android platform standards.
• Enthusiasm for mobile technology.
• Some familiarity with motion and animation design.
• Basic skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficient English language skills (C1 level).
• Comfortable presenting designs to clients and articulating design choices.
• Openness to participate in pre-sales discussions with prospective clients.
• Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and effective communication skills.
• Nice to have: experience in designing for wearables, health-tech, or smart audio devices.
• Nice to have: knowledge of After Effects, Rive, Lottie, or similar motion design tools.
• Nice to have: experience in leading or co-leading brand design projects.
• Nice to have: understanding of design tokens, variables, and naming conventions for seamless designer-developer collaboration.
