Senior TypeScript Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain scalable, robust RESTful APIs utilizing TypeScript and Ruby on Rails.

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle: from architecture and implementation to automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring.

• Play a key role in the advancement of the core platform (monolith), microservices projects, and integrations with partners including ERPs, payment gateways, and external platforms.

• Uphold technical excellence through code reviews, Clean Code practices, SOLID principles, and adherence to team standards.

• Analyze and enhance performance through APM, resource tuning, and query optimization techniques.

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary squads employing agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban, working alongside engineering and product teams.

• Navigate various contexts and work with TypeScript and mobile teams while maintaining a systems-level viewpoint.

• Independently manage a temporary project lasting 2 to 3 months, with the potential for extension.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Ruby on Rails.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript.

• Advanced understanding of REST APIs, encompassing design, documentation, and consumption.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and data modeling.

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.

• Solid knowledge of automated testing, including RSpec as well as unit, integration, and black-box testing methodologies.

• Experience in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS.

• Ownership mentality: autonomy, initiative, and a commitment to delivering value with technical accountability.

• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and caching/queue systems, such as Redis, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB.

• Experience with CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions and Argo CD.

• Preferred: experience with microservices architecture and messaging, particularly AWS SNS/SQS.

• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, though not required.
