This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct discovery sessions, analyze incident history and field-reported issues, pinpoint risks and blind spots, outline the Trust & Safety scope, and present a program proposal suitable for leadership review.
• Take ownership of the Trust & Safety roadmap, encompassing fixes, initiatives, launch timelines, training milestones, and ongoing education.
• Develop and sustain policies, emergency response and escalation processes, standards for incident reporting and investigation, and conduct post-incident evaluations.
• Identify, assess, pilot, implement, and oversee the adoption of safety technologies such as body cameras, panic buttons, and pre-shift vehicle inspections.
• Create and facilitate field education through huddles, lunch and learns, in-app content, written resources, and audio materials.
• Collaborate with Legal and Privacy teams on matters involving recording, monitoring, patient identification, and data collection initiatives.
• Act as the point of escalation for critical incidents and coordinate responses across People, Field Operations, Clinical, and Legal departments.
• Establish and report on key metrics, including incident rates and severity, response times, training completion and engagement, workers’ compensation claims, and renewal outcomes.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in trust & safety, workplace safety/EHS, risk management, corporate security, or field operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in program ownership or leadership roles.
• Proven experience in supporting a distributed, in-person workforce.
• Demonstrated ability to build a function from the ground up.
• Strong working knowledge of workplace safety and incident management, including injury response, investigation techniques, OSHA recordkeeping, and workers’ compensation.
• Experience collaborating with Legal and Privacy on recording, employee monitoring, or handling of PII/PHI.
• Exceptional written communication skills for crafting policies, executive memos, and training materials for field staff.
• Proven ability to foster adoption among frontline employees and build trust with field teams.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing complex roadmaps with numerous dependencies.
• A genuine concern for the well-being of individuals.
• Nice to have: experience in healthcare, home health, mobile phlebotomy, field services, or logistics.
• Nice to have: familiarity with lone-worker safety technology.
• Nice to have: certifications such as CSP, ASP, or OHST, or formal training in de-escalation and crisis intervention.
• Nice to have: experience with education libraries or LMS curriculum development.
