This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Report directly to the Trial Consulting Manager.
• Oversee small to medium-sized litigation cases and specific workstreams on larger cases from initial planning to final execution.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, staffing plans, workflows, and deliverables effectively.
• Monitor case progress, deadlines, budgets, and workflow among various teams.
• Anticipate conflicting priorities, recognize risks or quality issues, and proactively devise solutions.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of case strategy, applicable laws, venue specifics, key stakeholders, and changing client needs.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, providing insightful recommendations throughout the engagement process.
• Lead and engage in client meetings, including war-room sessions.
• Ensure proactive communication with clients, case teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, identifying opportunities for future support.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of trial strategy, litigation procedures, and trial consulting.
• Transform complex issues, evidence, and case themes into impactful visual strategies.
• Direct the creation of visual presentations in collaboration with designers, animators, medical illustrators, contractors, and specialists.
• Ensure that all deliverables meet IMS quality, style, and production standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams as well as both internal and external resources.
• Collaborate with Trial Consulting, Jury Consulting, Trial Presentation, Expert Witness, and Litigation Consulting teams.
• Provide direction to ensure team members and vendors align with project goals and quality benchmarks.
• Oversee all project activities from planning and administration to on-site support and project closeout.
• Contribute to pitches, proposals, client outreach, and presentations.
• Engage in process improvement, innovation, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IMS policies and procedures while upholding professional and quality standards.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience managing multiple complex projects with tight deadlines.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Presentation/Graphics Consultant, Trial Consultant, Litigation Consultant, or in a similar role.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Strong capability to comprehend, synthesize, and simplify complex concepts and information.
• Outstanding organizational, project management, and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven track record of managing several complex projects simultaneously while navigating competing priorities.
• Strong client-service orientation, capable of establishing credibility and building trusted relationships with senior-level clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance while exercising sound judgment and accountability.
• Ability to provide clear direction, collaborate efficiently, and contribute positively to a team environment.
• Strong creative problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Capacity to adapt quickly to new tasks, shifting priorities, trial schedules, and client requirements.
• Willingness to integrate into client project teams for varying and extended durations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Commitment to innovation, ongoing improvement, and the development of effective business processes.
• Advanced understanding of trial strategy, litigation procedures, and the trial consulting process.
• Specialized knowledge and experience in one or more areas of litigation.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and relevant professional experience.
• Proven success in managing projects with competing deadlines, evolving priorities, and high client expectations.
• Advanced project and time-management skills, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
