📋 Description

• Lead and manage intricate transmission line designs from initial concept through to final design, including EFM, conductor sizing, induction, impedance, losses, and voltage drop analysis.

• Deliver senior-level technical expertise and guidance to design teams, ensuring precision, adherence to best practices, and top-tier design solutions.

• Execute essential engineering studies such as conductor economic assessments, lightning performance evaluations, grounding calculations, and electrical clearance assessments in accordance with NESC and relevant standards.

• Analyze and implement regulatory requirements, including NERC, FERC, and regional standards, ensuring compliance across all project outputs.

• Draft and review technical documentation, including specifications, data sheets, RFQs, bid evaluations, vendor drawings, and purchasing recommendations.

• Collaborate with project managers regarding project scopes, timelines, budgets, staffing plans, construction support, and management of change orders.

• Conduct and assess QA/QC for engineering outputs, production drawings, CAD outputs, and construction administration activities, addressing design-related field challenges.

• Perform and oversee field inspections, measurements, calculations, and installation evaluations for both public and private sector clients.

• Create and deliver technical reports, assist in marketing and business development initiatives, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and contractors.

• Mentor, lead, and support less experienced engineers, ensuring effective communication across disciplines and adherence to company safety, quality, and performance standards.
