This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Serve as the representative for Gilead's products and services to a designated customer base.
β’ Drive and enhance sales while consistently meeting or surpassing sales objectives within the specified geographic area.
β’ Conduct face-to-face interactions and in-person meetings with healthcare professionals.
β’ Build strong collaborative relationships with healthcare practices.
β’ Provide information on disease awareness, clinical updates, education, and changes within healthcare.
β’ Simplify complex clinical concepts for a variety of audiences.
β’ Gain insights into the unique issues and opportunities present in the Houston North region.
β’ Understand Gilead and competitor products, along with the complexities of various disease states.
β’ Encourage the appropriate use of Gilead products in line with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
β’ Formulate and execute a territory business plan, track sales performance, and devise action plans.
β’ Prepare budget plans for customer engagements, educational grants, speaker events, and other external expenses.
β’ Collaborate with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing, and other internal teams.
β’ Identify and address issues and opportunities while proactively communicating with marketing and sales management.
β’ Report adverse events to Gilead's Drug Safety and Public Health department.
β’ Carry out administrative tasks, including reporting call activities, customer information, and expense submissions.
β’ Comply with regulatory, state, federal, and company policies and maintain business ethics.
β’ Keep department personnel informed and compliant with commercial compliance policies and relevant laws and guidelines.
β’ Foster inclusion, develop talent, and empower teams through leadership responsibilities.
β’ High School diploma with 11+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
β’ Willingness to travel as required, including regular travel within the designated area.
β’ Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners, if applicable.
β’ A valid driver's license is mandatory.
β’ At least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales (preferred).
β’ Exceptional selling skills in highly competitive markets.
β’ Demonstrated and consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales goals, preferably in specialty markets.
β’ Previous experience with product launches in highly competitive environments (preferred).
