
Senior Therapeutic Specialist, HIV Treatment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Represent Gilead's products and services to a designated customer base.
β’ Drive and expand sales within the assigned geographic region while meeting or surpassing sales goals.
β’ Conduct in-person engagements and face-to-face meetings with healthcare professionals.
β’ Build relationships with healthcare practices and provide information on disease awareness, clinical education updates, and changes in healthcare.
β’ Simplify complex clinical concepts for varied audiences.
β’ Gain insights into the unique issues and opportunities within the Houston North region.
β’ Understand and advocate for Gilead and competitor products in the relevant therapeutic fields.
β’ Create and execute a territory business plan, track sales progress, and devise action plans.
β’ Prepare budget plans for customer interactions, educational grants, speaker events, and other external costs.
β’ Collaborate with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing, and other internal teams, as well as external co-promotion partners.
β’ Identify and address issues and opportunities, communicating proactively with marketing and sales management.
β’ Report adverse events to Drug Safety and Public Health as well as other internal departments.
β’ Carry out administrative tasks, including call activity and customer information reporting, along with expense submissions.
β’ Comply with regulatory, state, federal, company policies, procedures, business ethics, and Gilead values.
β’ Foster inclusion, nurture talent, and empower teams through people-leader responsibilities.
β’ High School diploma with 11+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
β’ Willingness to travel as required, including regular travel within the designated area.
β’ Fulfillment of healthcare practitioner onsite visitation requirements, which may include vaccinations, drug testing, and background checks.
β’ A valid driver's license is mandatory.
β’ At least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
β’ Exceptional selling skills in highly competitive markets.
β’ Demonstrated and consistent success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in specialty markets.
β’ Experience with product launches in a highly competitive setting.
β’ In-depth understanding of Gilead and competitor products, along with the complexities of related disease states.
β’ Familiarity with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines, as well as applicable laws and compliance requirements.
β’ Strong skills in presentation, communication, influencing, and relationship-building.
β’ Enthusiasm for learning and retaining technical and scientific product knowledge.
β’ Ability to work independently and consistently exceed performance expectations.
