This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Drive demand for BMS medications within the designated oncology portfolio for suitable patients.
• Engage healthcare providers through unique customer experiences and in-depth scientific discussions in line with product labeling.
• Establish and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community physicians, medical practices, office personnel, and other stakeholders in patient care.
• Promote approved uses of BMS products within the assigned territory to meet or surpass sales targets while adhering to compliance standards.
• Communicate the clinical and scientific justification for appropriate product usage in a fair and balanced manner.
• Maintain and enhance scientific expertise in designated products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepare and execute comprehensive territory and account strategies.
• Utilize CE^3 and other available resources to generate insights and dynamically adapt call plans.
• Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learns, for healthcare professionals.
• Organize external speaker programs and manage speaker scheduling and logistics.
• Stay informed about emerging data for approved indications.
• Engage Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Collaborate with other field teams to provide the best customer experience.
• Collect and share customer insights internally with relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Allocate approximately 100% of working hours in the field with external customers.
• Advanced scientific degree and/or over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
• Ability to communicate scientific or clinical information accurately and persuasively to physicians.
• Proven experience in building and sustaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and influence networks.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology is essential.
• Strong account management capabilities.
• Exceptional selling skills and a track record of proven sales performance in meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to work effectively across different functions.
• Strong promotional skills with a history of performance success.
• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in identifying, engaging, and nurturing customer credibility throughout the patient care process.
• Problem-solving and account management abilities.
• Understanding of the patient journey with the capability to tailor engagements and messaging.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical data.
• Proficiency in analyzing prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical/product information.
• Ability to segment HCPs based on preferences and pertinent factors.
• Proficient in utilizing CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning.
• Technological proficiency with digital communication platforms, CE^3, CRM/software tools, and Medical on Call.
• Strong business acumen for analyzing business and market influences and developing, executing, and adjusting business strategies.
• Learning agility, integrity, and sound judgment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence.
• Must meet the Company's acceptable driving risk level.
