This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive demand for BMS medications within the designated cardiovascular portfolio for suitable patients.
• Engage with healthcare providers through unique customer experiences and in-depth scientific discussions aligned with product labeling.
• Establish and sustain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community-based physicians, healthcare professionals, office staff, and other patient-care stakeholders.
• Collaborate with BMS functions to address healthcare provider needs promptly and scientifically.
• Promote approved indications within a specified territory or region while achieving or surpassing sales targets compliantly.
• Clearly articulate the clinical and scientific rationale for products in suitable patients.
• Maintain and enhance scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Utilize SOPHIA and CE^3 to extract insights and dynamically inform call strategies.
• Provide feedback on tool usage to leadership for ongoing enhancement.
• Present approved scientific information in office settings, including lunch-and-learns.
• Organize external speaker programs and manage scheduling and logistics for approved speakers.
• Maintain working knowledge of emerging data for approved indications.
• Use Medical on Call to address unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Collaborate with other field teams to ensure an exceptional healthcare provider customer experience.
• Gather and relay customer insights internally to relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Spend a significant amount of time in the field with external customers.
• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
• Ability to effectively communicate scientific or clinical data to physicians with accuracy and persuasiveness.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and other stakeholders.
• Previous experience in cardiovascular is preferred.
• Strong account management capabilities.
• Exceptional selling skills and a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to work efficiently across functions.
• Strong promotional abilities with a history of successful performance.
• Capacity to drive business outcomes and comprehend market dynamics.
• Experience identifying, engaging, and building credibility with customers throughout the patient care journey.
• Understanding of the patient journey and a patient-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong learning mindset and enthusiasm for science.
• Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, healthcare provider preferences, and clinical data.
• Capability to segment healthcare providers and customize communication and product presentations accordingly.
• Proficiency in using CE^3 to generate insights and conduct adaptive call planning.
• Ability to utilize healthcare technology and digital communication channels effectively.
• Competence in using CE^3 and other software or CRM tools.
• Proficiency in using Medical on Call technology.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop, execute, and adjust business plans.
• High integrity and sound judgment to operate compliantly in accordance with BMS policies and procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence.
