Senior Test Engineer – Mobile App Testing, T24

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and implement detailed testing strategies, plans, and cases for iOS, Android, and Web-based Digital Banking applications.

• Conduct functional, integration, regression, usability, and end-to-end testing across mobile devices, emulators/simulators, and web browsers.

• Design and carry out comprehensive test scenarios that encompass mobile/web applications, API middleware, and Temenos T24 Core Banking integrations.

• Validate REST/JSON APIs utilizing tools such as Postman and SoapUI, ensuring data accuracy, payload validation, error handling, and transaction integrity.

• Test banking functionalities including eKYC/customer onboarding, account creation, biometric authentication, fund transfers, bill payments, fixed deposits, transaction limits, and notifications.

• Verify payment workflows, covering domestic payments, international remittances, and internal fund transfers.

• Assess digital wallet provisioning, card tokenization, card lifecycle management, and Apple Pay/In-App Provisioning integrations.

• Conduct mobile security testing, addressing MFA/OTP, biometric authentication, session management, encryption, OAuth/OIDC, and vulnerability assessments.

• Perform performance, load, compatibility, and accessibility testing.

• Validate OCR and document verification functionalities for eKYC, including both Arabic and English documentation.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using JIRA, including performing root-cause analysis.

• Test integrations with BPM/workflow systems and maker-checker back-office portals.

• Collaborate with automation teams to determine scenarios suitable for Appium, Selenium, and other automation frameworks.

• Utilize BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm to ensure device and browser coverage.

• Work together with security, development, product, and automation teams to address critical defects and integration challenges.

• Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and status updates, escalating critical issues as needed.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of mobile testing processes, device labs, test environments, and QA standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of QA experience in the banking or financial services industry.

• A minimum of 3 years dedicated experience in testing native/hybrid mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web portals.

• Experience in testing card issuance and digital wallet provisioning (e.g., Apple Pay), preferably including Apple or card scheme certification.

• Familiarity with testing digital onboarding/eKYC using OCR capture and back-office maker-checker workflows in the UAE banking sector.

• A proven history of testing complex API integrations with core banking systems.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and collaborating closely with UI/UX and development teams.

• This is a 3-month contract position.
