Senior Test Engineer – LD to AA Loans Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive functional and migration testing for the migration projects from Temenos T24 LD to AA Loans.

• Ensure the successful migration of conventional loan products such as Working Capital Loans, Bonds, and Housing Loans/Grants, as well as Islamic financing products like Ijarah and Murabaha, into the AA module.

• Validate the entire loan lifecycle functionality, which includes origination, disbursement, repayment schedules, accruals, charges, penalties, restructures, settlements, and loan closure.

• Execute detailed reconciliation between legacy LD contracts and the newly migrated AA arrangements.

• Confirm Oracle General Ledger reconciliation and financial postings following the migration process.

• Test digital banking integrations that encompass loan inquiries, repayments, Direct Debit (DDS), and BPM workflows.

• Develop and implement migration test cases leveraging strategy documents, mapping sheets, BRDs, and production-like test data.

• Validate the processes of extraction, transformation, data loading, and post-load reconciliation throughout migration and dress rehearsal phases.

• Identify, analyze, document, and monitor defects; conduct root cause analysis and assist in defect resolution efforts.

• Assist in cutover activities, Go/No-Go validations, rollback verifications, and ensuring production readiness.

• Generate test execution reports, reconciliation summaries, and migration validation outcomes.

• Mentor junior QA engineers while promoting testing best practices, quality standards, and process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/Test Engineering within the banking or financial services sector.

• Practical experience with the Temenos T24 Lending (LD) and Arrangement Architecture (AA) modules.

• Demonstrated experience in performing end-to-end migration testing from LD to AA (or core banking loan systems).

• In-depth knowledge of conventional lending products alongside Islamic finance products, including Ijarah and Murabaha.

• Experience in conducting Oracle GL and financial reconciliation testing.

• Hands-on testing experience with digital banking channels, Direct Debit (DDS), BPM/NewGen integrations, and loan servicing workflows.

• Strong grasp of migration testing, ETL validation, reconciliation methods, and data integrity confirmation.

• Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA and test management solutions.

• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with stakeholders.

• Experience in Agile, hybrid, or large-scale banking transformation initiatives.
