Senior Test Automation Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the test strategy, automation, and release validation for native iOS/Android applications and the web portal.

• Create and sustain functional, regression, and end-to-end automated testing.

• Ensure validation of authentication, session management, and secure data handling processes.

• Conduct testing of location features and push notifications on actual devices.

• Incorporate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.

• Analyze production issues, confirm hotfixes, and broaden regression coverage.

• Collaborate on requirements gathering, test planning, and estimation processes.

• Validate compatibility, accessibility, and multilingual support across different platforms.

• Confirm application data integrity following backend modifications and migrations.

• Monitor defects, coverage, and quality metrics while maintaining comprehensive test documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in test automation for native iOS and Android applications, as well as web portals.

• Demonstrated ability to design and maintain automation frameworks, manage test suites, and ensure release quality.

• Proficient in functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

• Experience in testing responsive interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and localization features.

• Familiarity with validating location services, push notifications, authentication, and session management.

• Practical experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in supporting production applications, investigating defects, and conducting root cause analysis.

• Capability to collaborate closely with developers and architects to enhance quality and testability.

• Experience working with Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to continuous learning.

• Experience in validating backend data corrections and migrations using queries or scripts.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level, as it is the working language with the client.
