Senior Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze requirement documentation to identify business rules, workflows, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios.

• Define and identify test scenarios.

• Create test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Develop Gherkin scenarios adhering to BDD principles.

• Identify and request the necessary test data for executing tests.

• Design, execute, and validate automated test scripts.

• Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Appium.

• Conduct integration, system, and acceptance testing throughout various stages of the development lifecycle.

• Perform both manual and automated tests in accordance with the established strategy.

• Record, track, and log defects and inconsistencies using management tools.

• Collaborate with responsible teams to monitor defects.

• Re-run tests following fixes to validate and resolve defects.

• Create and analyze test execution reports.

• Maintain up-to-date test cases, scenarios, evidence, and scripts.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, providing insights regarding activities, risks, impediments, results, and opportunities for improvement.

• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, Product Owners, and other team members to ensure quality in delivery.

• Recognize opportunities for ongoing enhancement in testing and automation processes.

• Assist in ensuring the quality of solutions delivered to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience with software testing processes and phases.

• Proficient in unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting requirements documentation.

• Skilled in identifying and developing test scenarios.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Proficient in using HP ALM, Jira, or Octane.

• Experience with automated testing.

• Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.

• Familiarity with Appium.

• Experience with or knowledge of Cucumber, Gherkin, and BDD.

• Understanding of Java.

• Knowledge of Visual Basic/VBA.

• Experience in a Bradesco environment will be considered an advantage.
