Freelance Software Tester, Smart TVs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Conduct short-term freelance functional testing for a streaming application on Smart TVs.

• Install application builds on TV devices by following the provided guidelines.

• Execute test cases that involve navigation, playback, login/account functionality, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functional quality.

• Report any bugs with detailed reproduction steps along with screenshots or recordings.

• Offer feedback on issues encountered during each testing session.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Should be physically present in Ireland during the months of October and November.

• Comfortable navigating a streaming application in English; Native or Bilingual English speakers are preferred.

• Available for 30 minutes for account setup and typically 2–4 hours for each testing session, with some sessions lasting up to 12 hours.

• Must have a Philips, Vestel, or JVC Smart TV operating on Titan OS.

• Experience in software testing is advantageous; however, no prior experience is necessary as free courses are provided.

• Must register for an account on the Testlio platform.

• Must utilize the Testlio website for tracking defects.
