This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Evaluate functional requirements and comprehend intricate business processes.

• Develop, document, and implement test cases.

• Facilitate and assist with testing conducted by business users.

• Carry out functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Verify integrations across various systems and ensure information traceability.

• Oversee defect management, track resolutions, and confirm fixes.

• Generate reports on testing progress, risks, and results.

• Collaborate directly with business units and coordinate testing efforts across teams.

• Assess application functionality, system integration, and the impact of operations on accounting.

• Automate testing for REST APIs and microservices using Python within an Agile framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior experience in QA Manual testing.

• Capability to create test plans from the ground up and establish validation strategies.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to work independently, manage oneself, and make informed decisions.

• Background in integration testing between systems.

• Experience in data validation and result analysis.

• Proficient in API testing.

• Experience in banking or financial projects (preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automation.

• Extensive experience in automating REST APIs and microservices.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with Agile methodology.

• Financial background (preferred).

• Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.

• The job is located in Montevideo, Uruguay and is open to candidates based in LATAM.
