Senior Technical Support Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 functional support for the SAC and MCI systems.

• Examine and resolve incidents and requests pertaining to Fund Accounting and Fund Controlling processes.

• Assist with daily, monthly, and year-end closing activities for investment funds.

• Validate accounting entries, balance sheet positions, and financial transactions.

• Investigate inconsistencies, reconciliation breaks, and calculation errors.

• Aid in the calculation and validation of fund units, net asset value (NAV), provisions, and returns.

• Analyze the accounting of fixed-income and equity assets, derivatives, repurchase agreements, and various financial instruments.

• Provide assistance in calculating management fees, performance fees, custody fees, and other fund-related expenses.

• Oversee corporate actions and assess their accounting and financial implications.

• Conduct functional analyses related to system integrations and portfolio processing.

• Support both internal and external audits along with regulatory inquiries.

• Create functional documentation, operating procedures, and knowledge bases.

• Collaborate with teams in Fund Administration, Custody, Fund Controlling, Compliance, Operations, and Technology.

• Identify the root causes of incidents and suggest process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience working with fund administrators, asset management firms, custodian banks, fund accounting and controlling providers, financial institutions, or software companies in the financial markets.

• In-depth knowledge of investment fund accounting.

• Extensive understanding of fund controlling.

• Strong grasp of fund administration.

• Proficient in accounting closing processes.

• Solid understanding of balance sheet and financial reconciliations.

• Expertise in fund unit calculation and validation.

• Comprehensive knowledge of net asset value (NAV).

• Familiarity with fund financial statements.

• Understanding of provisions and revenue and expense recognition.

• Knowledgeable about management fees and performance fees.

• Familiar with government bonds, CDBs, debentures, repurchase agreements, equities, derivatives, swaps, futures, options, and fund units.

• Knowledge of Custody, Fund Controlling, Treasury, financial settlement, corporate actions, and portfolio processing routines.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
