This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Drive strategy and engage customers in the sales of web performance solutions from a technical marketing standpoint.
• Serve as a pre-sales technology expert and a technical escalation point for strategic opportunities and accounts.
• Actively participate and share expertise as a subject matter authority in one or more web performance solutions.
• Support Solutions Engineering teams with intricate Proofs of Concept and advanced technical discussions.
• Shape strategies for products related to cloud and edge computing, DevOps, web and mobile applications, real-user monitoring, and CDN.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management to influence new product development and the existing product roadmap.
• Lead pre-sales subject matter expert enablement groups in specialized or designated areas.
• Utilize knowledge of competitors to direct internal teams on surpassing them.
• Create solutions that fulfill customers' business and technical needs.
• Build strong customer relationships through a consultative approach to tackle challenges and meet business objectives.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in large, complex customer-facing environments.
• Background in technical pre-sales with direct customer interaction.
• Proficiency in proxy architectures, malware, endpoint protections, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, APIs, CI/CD, and cloud computing architectures.
• Experience with DNS, enterprise architectures, cloud security, SAML and OIDC, IdPs, authentication, and authorization.
• Capability to present technical and business-related topics to diverse audiences.
