Senior Technical Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide continuous support for ETL pipelines that handle extensive healthcare datasets

• Analyze production challenges, apply code modifications, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver prompt solutions

• Collaborate with clients to identify and rectify software-related challenges

• Deploy, manage, and oversee jobs across various environments

• Develop process documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment manuals

• Spot opportunities for process enhancements

• Engage in team meetings and scrum activities

• Interface with developers, business analysts, delivery managers, QA teams, project managers, and account managers

• Utilize JIRA for tracking and resolving issues

• Solicit stakeholder feedback to enhance skills and refine processes

• Provide occasional weekend support for critical issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)

• Over 8 years of practical experience with C#, SQL, and scripting languages

• Proficiency in Python, C#, and Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting

• Advanced understanding of SQL query optimization and stored procedures

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

• Knowledge of Airflow, Talend Studio, Redis, Azure Service Bus, and Kafka messaging platforms

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automating deployments

• Proficient with version control systems like Bitbucket/Git

• Acquainted with healthcare data formats including EDI files (834, 278, 837, 999)

• Strong communication skills to facilitate cross-team collaboration

• Familiar with Agile methodologies

• Ability to operate across various time zones
