This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
β’ Deliver technical, client, and business-line support for the Americas region and global business line.
β’ Assist with technical services, strategy, new product innovation, global processes, capacity planning, and technical governance.
β’ Identify opportunities for new products and revenue through service expansion, development of new services, and customer inquiries.
β’ Oversee, develop, and manage technical components of globally executed regulatory services for customers in the Americas.
β’ Stay informed about industry best practices and standards, providing technical insights, interpretations, and recommendations.
β’ Accurately respond to technical inquiries from the Tech Inquiry Mailbox within established turnaround times.
β’ Create and refine SOPs, methods, work instructions, and standard interpretation practices.
β’ Design and deliver technical training sessions for both internal and external audiences in the Americas region.
β’ Comprehend client requirements and align them with Bureau Veritas testing services.
β’ Track customer inquiries to identify potential new services and market opportunities.
β’ Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards, updating or developing testing methodologies as needed.
β’ Address technical challenges involving regional sites and clients.
β’ Engage in global processes and promote continuous improvement.
β’ Enhance client satisfaction in collaboration with Lab Managers/Directors and Business Development teams.
β’ Support client projects, regulatory interpretations, knowledge-product sales, technical marketing content, RFPs, new-service implementation, adherence to testing methodologies, audits, complaint investigations, and regional capacity planning.
β’ In-depth knowledge of relevant Hardlines, Toys, and Juvenile Products technical expertise, concepts, processes, and equipment.
β’ Capability to engage with customers, ascertain requirements, secure additional business, define and resolve issues, and guarantee customer satisfaction.
β’ Competence in working under pressure, managing crisis situations, and balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
β’ Highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills; able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
β’ Ability to interpret regulations and standards effectively.
β’ Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with statistical procedures.
β’ Medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, and statistical analysis tools.
β’ Knowledge of laboratory instruments and equipment.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
β’ Technical aptitude with the capability to assimilate, evaluate new information, and formulate plans.
β’ Skill to prioritize tasks and perform necessary follow-ups.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20% within the USA, with limited international travel required.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a master's degree is an added advantage.
β’ A minimum of 5 years' experience in customer services and/or direct customer engagement.
β’ 2β3 years of pertinent experience in the assigned service line or a related discipline is essential.
