This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation of Motive's technical SEO strategy by conducting regular audits on crawlability, indexation, rendering, redirects, canonical tags, internal link structures, structured data, and overall page quality.
• Leverage and enhance AI-assisted workflows to convert crawl and search performance data into prioritized solutions, applying human judgment prior to execution.
• Collaborate with the Content and Web teams to identify and address issues of content cannibalization and duplication.
• Work alongside Web Engineering to rectify site errors, warnings, and performance challenges on crucial pages and templates.
• Optimize product, solution, and industry pages that are high-intent for non-branded searches.
• Enhance information architecture, navigation, and internal linking strategies to capture long-tail demand effectively.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives across international sites, focusing on hreflang, regional sitemaps, canonical strategies, and localized templates.
• Establish technical SEO requirements for new templates, page types, and CMS functionalities.
• Conduct SEO quality assurance for launches, migrations, and redesigns.
• Transform findings into clear, engineering-ready specifications.
• Serve as the primary technical SEO liaison for web and marketing stakeholders, articulating trade-offs and impacts to non-technical partners.
• Collaborate with teams across Web, Web Engineering, Content, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, content SEO, and AI-search.
• A minimum of 5 years of technical SEO experience, preferably within B2B SaaS or intricate multi-template settings.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Extensive knowledge in crawling, indexation, JavaScript SEO, sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, hreflang, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, performance, and mobile user experience.
• Proven experience in scaling information architecture across various categories, products, long-tail, international, and localized pages.
• Familiarity with schema.org/JSON-LD implementation and validation.
• Experience in diagnosing keyword cannibalization on a large scale.
• Demonstrated collaboration with web and engineering teams to execute technical fixes and evaluate their impact on traffic, leads, and pipeline.
• Experience in utilizing AI or agentic workflows to automate SEO audits and recommendations, ensuring proper human oversight.
• Sound understanding of AEO, generative search, crawler access, structured data, page architecture, algorithm updates, AI search functionalities, and evolving SEO metrics.
• Strong analytical capabilities with large crawl and search datasets.
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, log analyzers, and web analytics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies governed by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
