Senior Technical Program Manager – Power Platform, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business applications and automated workflows utilizing Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Create solutions for intake processes, case management, assessment workflows, and operational activities.

• Diagnose complex application and automation challenges, determine root causes, and implement lasting solutions.

• Configure, test, maintain, and enhance applications, including Dataverse solutions.

• Identify opportunities for automation and enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

• Convert vague business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Examine business processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and propose scalable enhancements.

• Develop process maps, functional requirements, user stories, and technical documentation.

• Assess dependencies, data integrity, operational risks, and downstream effects.

• Oversee technical and operational initiatives from requirement gathering through design, development, implementation, and ongoing support.

• Manage multiple concurrent projects while balancing priorities, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

• Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar technologies.

• Analyze data, address reporting issues, and enhance data quality.

• Support Responsible AI impact assessments, governance reviews, and associated operational processes.

• Assess AI use cases, document findings, and identify risks related to privacy, security, and Responsible AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in designing, building, implementing, and maintaining enterprise business applications and automated workflows.

• Strong practical expertise with Power Apps and Power Automate, including independently developing and troubleshooting solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives from initial requirements to solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to independently investigate complex issues and identify root causes.

• Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications, process improvements, and functional solutions.

• Robust program and project management skills, with a background in managing multiple priorities and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently in ambiguous settings, establish direction, and achieve results with minimal oversight.

• Strong analytical thinking and an understanding of interconnected systems, applications, and data flows.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation and present to stakeholders.

• A proactive mindset with a willingness to engage in both technical development and detailed operational activities.

• Experience in developing solutions using Dataverse.

• Experience in creating dashboards and reporting solutions with Power BI.

• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, data integrations, or related technologies.

• Experience in developing AI-enabled workflows, AI agents, or solutions using Copilot Studio or similar technologies.

• Exposure to Responsible AI, privacy, compliance, technology risk management, or governance processes.

• Experience in large enterprise technology environments.

• Background in supporting operational transformation, process modernization, or enterprise automation initiatives.

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa and visa extension sponsorship is not available.
