Senior Technical Marketing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee hands-on customer Proof of Value initiatives, architectural showcases, and pilot assessments.

• Design, implement, and sustain both physical and virtual networking laboratories that replicate intricate enterprise branch, edge, and retail frameworks.

• Evaluate product performance, interoperability, and scalability in real-world scenarios.

• Identify, replicate, and resolve L2/L3 networking escalations, network segmentation issues, and packet-level irregularities.

• Act as the technical escalation conduit between field teams and core engineering.

• Create deployment runbooks, reference architectures, white papers, competitive testing plans, and solution briefs.

• Develop and present technical training, engaging workshops, and webinars for Systems Engineers, professional services, and channel partner architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A demonstrated passion for and active investigation of AI tools, with a solid history of incorporating new technologies to improve daily operations and enhance problem-solving capabilities.

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, or advanced systems engineering.

• Extensive expertise in enterprise routing, switching, TCP/IP, L2/L3 network segmentation, and tunneling protocols such as WireGuard, IPsec, and VxLAN.

• Proven experience in leading and successfully executing hands-on customer Proof of Value pilots and executive architectural assessments within complex enterprise and distributed edge networking settings.

• Hands-on experience in constructing and maintaining multi-vendor physical and virtual network lab topologies utilizing bare-metal appliances, ESXi, KVM, EVE-NG, and GNS3.

• Advanced skills in packet analysis and troubleshooting with tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and traffic generation utilities.

• Experience in diagnosing routing anomalies, latency/jitter, MTU problems, and NAT/firewall navigation.

• A history of producing high-quality technical documentation and conducting technical enablement sessions for sales engineering, professional services, and partner teams.
