Senior Technical Consultant – Service Now

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend and convert business and technical requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions.

• Design, configure, develop, and implement functionalities of the ServiceNow platform.

• Lead the successful delivery of solutions.

• Concentrate on ServiceNow ITSM, ITIL, ITAM, IRM, ITOM/CMDB, and GRC.

• Work with HP Service Manager, BMC/Remedy, SaaS solutions, and web technologies.

• Facilitate and lead functional design workshops.

• Produce design specifications aligned with out-of-the-box functionalities and customer needs.

• Oversee technical delivery, including solution design, configuration, development, testing, and implementation.

• Manage small technical or cross-functional teams within intricate solution environments.

• Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Technical Architecture teams for client presentations, workshops, and technical discussions.

• Execute hands-on technical implementation using HTML, XML, JavaScript/AJAX, and integrations such as Web Services, SOAP, Email, and MID Server.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced English.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• In-depth expertise in ServiceNow platform functionalities, scripting, and integrations.

• Equivalent experience with other enterprise ITSM platforms will also be taken into account.

• Strong grasp of IT Service Management (ITIL) processes, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Practical experience with HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript/AJAX.

• Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations using Web Services, SOAP, Email, MID Server, and plugins.

• Comprehensive knowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL, and associated infrastructure concepts.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding small teams and contributing to project delivery.

• Capability to create clear and structured technical and customer-facing documentation.
