Senior Technical Consultant – AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate customer workshops, technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and solution design activities.

• Architect and implement scalable platforms for cloud-native applications, data services, infrastructure, and AI-driven workloads.

• Oversee cloud migration and modernization assessments, including planning, architecture, execution, and transition operations.

• Develop migration strategies, establish landing zones, create modernization roadmaps, plan workload waves, manage cutover plans, and execute operational handoffs.

• Construct reusable platform patterns, automation processes, self-service workflows, developer tools, and best practices.

• Spearhead AI-enhanced development projects by integrating AI tools within customer software development lifecycles, engineering processes, and delivery methodologies.

• Promote organization-wide AI adoption through assessments, pilot programs, training sessions, playbooks, governance, adoption roadmaps, and measurement frameworks.

• Utilize AI coding assistants and agentic development tools for prototyping, coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation purposes.

• Implement human review and engineering standards to validate AI-generated code and solutions.

• Create Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and cloud automation solutions.

• Collaborate with containers, Kubernetes, APIs, event-driven architectures, observability, security, and cloud-native designs.

• Utilize LLM, RAG, agent, vector databases, model APIs, and AI application integration patterns.

• Ensure platform security, governance, reliability, operational readiness, and cost management.

• Develop reusable accelerators, technical documentation, demonstrations, and reference architectures.

• Mentor engineers and engage in internal technical communities and enablement initiatives.

• Participate in proposals, estimates, technical presentations, and pre-sales efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 8 years of professional IT experience.

• More than 4 years of experience in cloud, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, application modernization, or related fields.

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.

• Proven track record in delivering cloud migration and platform modernization projects, including assessment, planning, dependency analysis, landing zones, migration waves, cutover, and validation.

• Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.

• Experience with CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, automation, and cloud-native application patterns.

• Proficient scripting or programming skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants or agentic development tools.

• Knowledge of LLMs, generative AI applications, RAG, prompt engineering, agents, and model APIs.

• Ability to review, secure, test, and productionize AI-generated code.

• One or more relevant professional certifications, such as CKA, CKAD, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Microsoft Azure certifications, NVIDIA AI/Generative AI/AI infrastructure certification, Claude Certified Architect, or equivalent AI architecture certification.
