Senior Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor and expert on Salesforce products and platforms for large, intricate enterprise clients.

• Lead and identify internal strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the consulting practice.

• Contribute to the knowledge base and expertise within the community.

• Assist customers and colleagues in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies that add business value.

• Explain complex concepts and deliver innovative, prescriptive insights.

• Proactively identify and manage risk areas through comprehensive resolution.

• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions with clients and third-party partners.

• Review and refine project/program direction, methodologies, and key documents.

• Ensure programs remain on schedule and that solutions are scalable and maintainable.

• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions.

• Contribute to program vision and provide guidance on project strategies involving enabling technologies, particularly the Salesforce Platform.

• Mentor and nurture talent within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture or consulting.

• At least 4 years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects.

• Proficient in application design, data, integration, and security architecture.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Quick learner with the capability to apply new concepts, business models, and technologies effectively.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to engage with individuals in various roles.

• Skillful in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes through technology and integration.

• Innovative and resourceful problem-solving skills.

• Extensive experience in integration concepts, designs, and patterns.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree.

• Ability to articulate and persuade customers regarding best practices at different organizational levels.

• Background in application design and development.

• A strong background in Enterprise Architecture is advantageous.

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications.

• Experience within the Consumer Goods Cloud, Trade Promotion Management, and the Consumer Goods sector is beneficial.

• Familiarity with AI-driven development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Agentforce for Developers.

• Experience leading a technical team or workstream.

• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with C-level executives, senior technology leaders, and key decision-makers.

• Strong experience in defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform is a significant advantage.
