This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead and manage customer technical projects, including the implementation and deployment of Airbyte solutions.
• Ensure that implementations are in line with client specifications and adhere to industry best practices.
• Provide guidance to customers throughout their journey with technical expertise and hands-on support.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Kubernetes workloads, pods, networking, storage, resource management, and deployments in production environments.
• Address complex data movement challenges involving SQL, CDC, database replication, and data synchronization.
• Troubleshoot REST API and integration challenges with a focus on HTTP methods, OAuth, API keys, JWT, webhooks, and JSON.
• Advise clients on the integration of LLM-based tools into their existing data architecture in conjunction with Airbyte connectors.
• Collaborate directly with clients’ technical teams to assess needs and customize solutions.
• Work alongside technical support, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and introduce new features.
• Assist clients in evaluating and adopting AI agent frameworks for autonomous data agents utilizing Airbyte as a data source.
• Partner with Sales to identify and enhance opportunities for customer growth.
• Act as the primary source of customer technical requirements, expectations, and necessary functionalities within the organization.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to highlight customer needs and influence the product roadmap.
• Demonstrate Airbyte’s offerings and best practices to clients and at industry events.
• Act as a brand ambassador and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
• Promote best practices for developing AI-ready data stacks.
• Create and present technical content, including blog posts, demos, and conference presentations.
• Over 6 years of experience in a customer-facing technical position, such as Technical Account Manager, resident solutions architect, professional services engineer, or consultant.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production settings, including troubleshooting of workloads, pods, networking, storage, resource allocation, and deployment challenges.
• At least 2 years of experience in a startup setting, preferably within modern data infrastructure, including cloud applications, databases, ELT tools, data warehouses, or related domains.
• Practical experience with one or more AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and best practices in prompt engineering is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated success in supporting products that have a direct impact on business productivity.
• Strong focus on customer orientation, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing technical success.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Remote work capability from New York City, supporting the East Coast Timezone.
