This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and implement customer technical projects, including the deployment and integration of Airbyte solutions
• Ensure that implementations meet client specifications and adhere to industry best practices
• Provide guidance to customers throughout their journey with technical expertise and hands-on assistance
• Diagnose issues related to Kubernetes workloads, pods, networking, storage, resource management, and deployment in production environments
• Resolve complex data movement challenges involving SQL, CDC, database replication, and data synchronization
• Address REST API integration issues involving HTTP methods, OAuth, API keys, JWT, webhooks, and JSON
• Offer advice to clients on how to integrate LLM-based tools with current data infrastructure and Airbyte connectors
• Collaborate directly with clients’ technical teams to understand their needs and customize solutions accordingly
• Work alongside technical support, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and implement features
• Assist clients in assessing and adopting AI agent frameworks
• Partner with Sales to identify and pursue customer growth opportunities
• Serve as the go-to resource for customer technical requirements and necessary functionalities
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap
• Showcase Airbyte’s offerings and best practices to clients and at industry events
• Act as a brand ambassador and build relationships with key stakeholders
• Promote best practices for developing AI-ready data stacks
• Create and present technical content including blogs, demos, and conference presentations
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a customer-facing technical position, such as Technical Account Manager, resident solutions architect, professional services engineer, or consulting role
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production settings, including troubleshooting workloads, pods, networking, storage, resource allocation, and deployment issues
• At least 2 years of experience in a startup environment, preferably within modern data infrastructure, including cloud applications, databases, ELT tools, data warehouses, or related sectors
• Practical experience with one or more AI frameworks
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and prompt engineering best practices is highly advantageous
• Proven success in supporting products that directly enhance business productivity
• Exceptional customer focus with an emphasis on ensuring smooth onboarding and continuous technical success
• Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
• Remote work from Toronto, supporting the East Coast Timezone
