Senior Systems Software Engineer – NV Cloud Functions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of a system that routes AI workloads across distributed GPU fleets.

• Design and deploy services using Java, Go, and Rust.

• Collaborate in an open environment on a public repository, ensuring transparent commits, design proposals, and reviews.

• Automate and streamline build, test, integration, and release processes for cloud-native systems.

• Work alongside engineering teams throughout NVIDIA to integrate complementary technologies, including KAI Scheduler, NVIDIA NIM, Grove, and Dynamo.

• Address community issues and manage pull requests for an open-source project.

• Create documentation for contributors.

• Develop, deploy, and monitor applications accelerated by GPU and DPU on NVIDIA hardware.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Over 3 years of practical software engineering experience.

• Expertise in a systems programming language (Go, C, Rust).

• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Distributed Software Architecture.

• Strong knowledge of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes) and related container technologies.

• Practical experience with automation in continuous integration frameworks such as GitLab and ArgoCD.

• Proficiency in a scripting language (Bash, Python).

• Familiarity with system internals of Unix/Unix-like kernels, including Linux.

• Awareness of performance, security, and reliability considerations in complex distributed systems.

• Background knowledge of pub-sub models and message queues.

• Experience in optimizing high-throughput network paths.

• Working knowledge of unary, streaming, and bidirectional protocols, including HTTP/2 and gRPC.

• Experience in developing Kubernetes Custom Resources and Operators for deployment in Cloud Service Providers.
