Senior Systems Engineer – R&D Innovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, prototype, and evaluate innovative technology features that complement the core product roadmap.

• Lead investigations into next-generation architectures, toolchains, or secure computing models.

• Investigate new paradigms such as machine learning at the edge, neuromorphic computing, and quantum-resilient architectures.

• Collaborate with academic and research partners.

• Carry out feasibility studies and technical assessments for preliminary concepts.

• Convert proof-of-concept initiatives into solutions that are close to production.

• Undertake additional job responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in software, hardware, or embedded engineering.

• Expertise in prototyping, rapid iteration, and exploratory development.

• Proficient in programming languages: C (preferred), Python, Rust, OpenGL, Vulkan.

• Experience in solution integration: Linux, containers, virtualization, Kubernetes, IPSec.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical risks, feasibility, and trade-offs.

• Bonus: experience with safety-critical systems, real-time constraints, or low-level kernel and network stack development.
