Senior Systems Analyst – Backend, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Java development utilizing Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and Spring WebFlux;

• Creation and execution of RESTful APIs;

• Conducting unit, integration, and performance testing;

• Architecture of distributed systems;

• Providing technical leadership and ownership;

• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams;

• Maintaining clear documentation and sound technical reasoning;

• Possessing an investigative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in Java development with Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and Spring WebFlux;

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka);

• Proficient in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs;

• Expertise in unit, integration, and performance testing;

• Experience with both relational databases and NoSQL;

• Knowledge of code versioning using Git;

• Proven experience in distributed systems architecture;

• Understanding of application monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, etc.);

• Strong grasp of design patterns and SOLID principles;

• Awareness of synchronous and asynchronous integrations (REST, SOAP, message queues, etc.);

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps culture;

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
