Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain scalable backend applications utilizing Node.js and ExpressJS.

• Design, implement, and uphold robust, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs.

• Maintain code quality through engineering best practices, data modeling, testing, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams to integrate services and establish application architecture.

• Engage in agile processes, including sprint planning, estimations, code reviews, and technical discussions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve intricate backend technical challenges.

• Keep abreast of modern backend development practices and technology trends.

• Work directly with an international client based in the UK within the Tech-led Facilities Management & Infrastructure Solutions sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with a strong emphasis on Node.js.

• Solid proficiency in ExpressJS for developing scalable backend services.

• Strong capability in Relational Databases (SQL) and data modeling.

• Proven experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker is highly regarded.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and Git workflows.

• Comprehensive understanding of backend architecture patterns, security, and clean code principles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and keen attention to detail.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for daily international collaboration.
