This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Strategize, design, maintain, and provide support for information technology systems and operations.
• Engage in metrics collection, monitoring tasks, and participate in on-call rotations utilizing Application Insights, Grafana, and OpsGenie.
• Assess, implement, and oversee software and hardware solutions to guarantee the integrity of workstation and server data.
• Conduct regular audits of hardware and software for workstations and servers.
• Diagnose server and related technology issues and execute solutions.
• Install and configure recommended solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Establish system backup schedules and manage database archiving operations.
• Investigate and develop solutions to intricate technical challenges through analysis, programming/development, testing, and the application of emerging technologies.
• Carry out system patching, vulnerability remediation, backups, security protocols, and disaster recovery processes.
• Plan, design, coordinate, procure, and implement server and storage infrastructure.
• Generate reports for management review.
• Create and sustain scripted automation, including Azure Automation Runbooks.
• Oversee tickets, service requests, and CMDB records within the ITSM platform.
• Administer endpoint management tools to provision, configure, and ensure compliance across workstations and devices.
• Offer documentation, training, technical support, and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain a system uptime and availability of 99.9%.
• Ensure systems are regularly patched, backed up, and compliant with Microsoft Entra policies.
• Deliver assigned projects punctually and within established parameters.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Azure and AWS public cloud environments.
• Strong skills in Linux and Windows server administration and networking.
• Expertise in BASH, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in creating and managing automation such as Azure Automation Runbooks.
• Understanding of security and compliance best practices.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms like HaloITSM or ServiceNow.
• Background in managing incidents, service requests, changes, and CMDB records.
• Experience with endpoint management solutions including Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, Conditional Access policies, access governance/entitlement management, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Project management skills to prioritize tasks, mitigate risks, manage costs, adhere to timelines, and lead project teams.
• Experience and willingness to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent organizational skills along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to travel to the Orlando office when necessary to service and support hardware.
• Must reside within the U.S.
