Senior Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct surveys related to the design, manufacturing, and operational aspects of engineering assets to ensure adherence to established Codes, Standards, specifications, and procedures.

• Execute technical inspections and assessments according to specified criteria and scope.

• Offer guidance on service delivery while adhering to budget constraints and contractual obligations.

• Generate reports, certificates, and documents in the designated format.

• Review the work of colleagues as needed.

• Engage in discussions and present deliverables to both internal and external clients at a senior level.

• Propose alternative solutions when necessary.

• Serve as a key contact for managing relationships with clients and LRQA.

• Make recommendations based on client feedback to enhance service delivery and contribute to business development.

• Pursue new opportunities with existing clients and identify potential new clients in the region.

• Assist in Sales and Marketing initiatives.

• Carry out activities in accordance with internal procedures, accreditation requirements, legislation, and industry standards.

• Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations and legal obligations.

• Ensure that employees receive adequate training and that sufficient resources are available for safe operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent qualifications.

• Suitable technical qualifications, including job-specific certifications.

• Qualification as an ASME AI or IBR Competent Person, or both.

• At least 8 years of pertinent experience in QA/QC or inspection of pressure equipment, materials, and mechanical components.

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite of applications.

• English language skills that are appropriate for the role, both written and spoken.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ideally, a qualified member of a recognized professional association.
