Senior Subrogation Specialist – Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into workers’ compensation and commercial auto claims to pinpoint and assess third-party recovery prospects.

• Evaluate liability, causation, damages, and recovery possibilities to formulate subrogation strategies.

• Collaborate with claims adjusters to safeguard and uphold subrogation rights throughout the claim's duration.

• Perform investigations and collect evidence to support recovery initiatives.

• Coordinate with attorneys, experts, insured individuals, and other relevant parties.

• Prepare and distribute notices, correspondence, and documentation that protect recovery interests.

• Negotiate settlements with attorneys and various other stakeholders.

• Oversee complex subrogation cases across different jurisdictions while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.

• Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and other necessary proceedings.

• Track statutes of limitation and deadlines related to litigation.

• Offer recovery analyses, updates, and recommendations to claims leadership and business associates.

• Remain updated on subrogation laws, legal changes, and recovery trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or a comparable mix of education and relevant experience.

• Typically, over 10 years of experience in commercial subrogation, with a focus on workers’ compensation.

• Proficient in assessing and pursuing intricate recovery opportunities.

• Experience in commercial auto subrogation is advantageous.

• Proven background in managing subrogation cases across multiple jurisdictions.

• Strong grasp of liability analysis, recovery tactics, litigation procedures, and laws pertaining to workers’ compensation and commercial auto subrogation.

• Demonstrated experience negotiating complex subrogation recoveries involving attorneys, experts, and diverse stakeholders.

• Multi-jurisdictional adjuster licenses, especially for Workers Compensation, are beneficial.

• Exceptional investigative, analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities.

• A persistent and proactive attitude towards driving recoveries.

• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States without the requirement for current or future sponsorship.
