Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and implement strategic sourcing initiatives across various IT categories, including application development, e-commerce, enterprise software, technical consulting, networking and data center hardware, PCs, tablets and peripherals, hosting services, mobile service providers, and telecommunications.

• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to comprehend requirements, assess solutions, and formulate sourcing strategies.

• Analyze historical expenditure to pinpoint potential savings opportunities.

• Spearhead intricate contract negotiations and cultivate strategic supplier partnerships.

• Manage supplier performance and oversee contract administration.

• Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership.

• Lead cross-functional teams to outline business requirements, establish sourcing strategies, and negotiate complex agreements and service-level commitments.

• Review documentation and legal drafts related to contracts and agreements.

• Coordinate with various departments and act as a liaison between Lennar Corporation and vendors to manage the intake, review, and finalization of IT and HR contracts.

• Mentor and guide managers and specialists.

• Encourage career development and oversee team performance.

• Review, draft, redline, and negotiate technology-related agreements, including SOWs, POCs, order forms, and amendments.

• Manage supplier relationships, engagement, and the ongoing enhancement of supplier performance.

• Create and facilitate the issuance and evaluation of RFPs and RFIs.

• Prepare, diagnose, and interpret financial and other pertinent sourcing analyses.

• Negotiate and formulate contracts with suitable terms and conditions.

• Resolve supplier performance disputes and service-level challenges.

• Ensure that IT minimum standards are applied and accurately documented.

• Communicate program needs and updates to both internal team members and external stakeholders.

• Build stakeholder trust and facilitate change.

• Utilize procurement systems and manage procure-to-pay processes.

• Address conflicts between suppliers and stakeholders in sourcing and procurement operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in IT Purchasing.

• More than 7 years of experience in IT Sourcing.

• Proven experience collaborating with major technology partners such as AT&T, CDW, Cisco, IBM, Insight, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, Verizon, and VMWare.

• ITIL experience is preferred.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up abilities.

• Capability to thrive in challenging and ambiguous environments.

• Proficient in effective communication with executives, clients, and team members on a regular basis.

• Ability to work across diverse functional areas to drive ongoing improvements.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
