Senior Director, Procurement & Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a global procurement and sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's objectives.

• Oversee sourcing for technology, software, and professional services, including enterprise systems, SaaS, and infrastructure contracts.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, performance, and compliance.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Operations to enhance supplier lifecycle management and mitigate risks.

• Develop category management frameworks and performance KPIs focused on cost, quality, and timely delivery.

• Promote the adoption of procurement best practices across regions, balancing consistency with local adaptability.

• Manage global RFP processes, contract negotiations, and strategies for contract renewals.

• Contribute to procurement governance, initiatives for supplier diversity, and ESG sourcing objectives.

• Guide and mentor a high-performing team of sourcing professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.

• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.

• Proven track record in managing global or multi-regional procurement, with experience in European markets being ideal.

• Strong expertise in IT/software procurement, including SaaS, enterprise systems, licensing, and managed services.

• Demonstrated achievements in contract negotiation, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.

• Excellent business acumen and skills in cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven, or global enterprise environment is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
